Sitting in the midst of snow blanket,
Sipping our coffee covered in layers,
Warm and cozy is how it feels.
We wonder in the middle of it all…
Afterall, What is our life’s goal?
Shivering with dark lips,
Looking for warm water to drink,
In the midst of this extreme winter,
They are praying for a blanket or sweater.
Afterall, What is that makes us worthy of it all?
Busy in our lives with all the facilities,
We are unaware of how it is to be really out there.
Cruel this winter can be
Killing adults and children.
Afterall, Will helping them ever become our goal?
